1. What we collect
- Account identifiers (such as email address and authentication provider subject ID) when you sign in with Google or other supported identity providers.
- App usage data needed to provide the service (for example, selected alert preferences, device push tokens, and basic diagnostic logs).
- Optional commercial data if you purchase Gold or similar products (processed via our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers).
2. Why we use it
- To create and secure your account and deliver race intelligence content you request.
- To send optional push or in-app alerts you enable (for example Top-5 race reminders).
- To operate, secure, and improve the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Legal bases under UK GDPR typically include contract (providing the service you request), legitimate interests (security, product improvement), and consent where required (for example optional marketing or certain device permissions).
3. Sharing
We use processors that help us run the service (cloud hosting, authentication, push delivery such as Apple/Google, and payment processors where applicable). We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
4. International transfers
Infrastructure may be located in the UK/EEA and other regions used by our processors. Where transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) as required by applicable law.
5. Retention
We keep account and service data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for security, dispute resolution, and legal retention. Push tokens and alert preferences are retained while notifications remain enabled or until the device unregisters.
6. Your rights

7. Children
The service is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 18.
